CB South is located 7 miles south of the town of Crested Butte, Colorado, and 21 miles north of Gunnison, Colorado. 
It is a fast expanding option for full time residents of Crested Butte. The housing prices in CB South tend to be lower
 and more affordable than those in town, and many local families live there. Homesites range from "town lots" similar to
